This one off guitar has truly been inspired by the 50s, a Bigsby, Filtertrons and a floating bridge, what more could you ask for???

The York Gum Burl top came first and then this guitar just evolved, with the grain in burl dictating that there could only be one shape, a Saguaro.

The wonderful top needed a suitably figured body to go with it and so a piece of flamed Scottish ash that had been kept aside for something special was used. The body is chambered like a semi hollow however there is no f holes as the wood was too nice to add them. infact you will notice that there is actually no control plates or covers at all.

The electrics are Bourns Mini Pots and an orange Drop Capacitor and the electrics were added through the pickup cavity and the hole for the jack socket.

Pickups are a set of Bearatrons, Sunbear pickups take on the classic fFiltertron, these things have the most wonderfull clean tone with absolutley amazing definition.

All of the hardware is aged nickel or aluminum and that includes a roller bridge that has been set on to and ebony floating bridge. This was to to enable the height to make use of the vintage Bigsby Tremolo and to emphasise that real 50s vibe.

Lastly we come to the neck, a lamination of fl;amed maple, roasted maple and ebony was used and then paired with a lovely ebony fretboard and Grover open back tuners.

This guitar is a joy to play, with the most amazing tone and sustain and visually, I don’t think it needs words.
