This beautiful Saguaro double cut really does have tone for days!

This guitar is made from a single piece of oak that has been chambered with a semi hollow route and paired with a sycamore drop top with a lemon burst.

The neck is an oak, sapele and ebony laminate with a 24.75” Indian rosewood fretboard with yellow abalone shell inlay markers and side dots.

The whole guitar has been given a nitro lacquer finish that has then been aged and given a lovely light relic fitting of this style of guitar.

From a pickup perspective it has a custom wound pair of “Monty’s guitars” Sea Dogs PAFs, the relic work and patina on these is a perfect match for the look of the guitar. To complement the pickups the gotoh bridge and Grover STA open back tuners have been given a complimentary aged finish.

The electronics are a set of Bourns mini pots with a Mallory yellow capacitor and a Switchcraft 3 way switch.

The pickups are truly remarkable, covering all bases, they have that classic PAF sound, but are able to really drive an amp. A perfect match for this guitar, as when combined with the chambered oak we get something truly remarkable.
