Striking look and feel paired with sustainability, what’s not to like?

This beautiful guitar from our Upscaler range has been built predominantly from reclaimed and recycled parts.

The body is made from reclaimed spruce that has then been given a Teal chalk paint finish and is paired with a refinished 2004 Squire Affinity neck.

The neck has been stripped of its polyurethane finish before having its headstock reshaped, new inlays added, full fret re-work and finally a lovely oil finish.

Hardware is all recycled fender components including a vintage 6 saddle hard tail bridge, chrome locking tuners and a MIM jack plate

The pickguard is made from some old 3 ply parchment pickguard material

Pickups are custom hand wound No19s from Parkhurst which are paired with new electrics. This includes CTS pots and Mallory yellow caps all connected with vintage style cloth covered wire.

This is a lovely instrument to play, giving rich defined notes with long levels of sustain from the spruce body.
