This is a stunning custom built T-type with a green to natural burst on a burl poplar book matched top.

The top is obviously the star of the show here, however if you look further the details just don’t stop. Flip it over and the guitar reveals a stunning Shu Sugi Ban finished spruce body and the most stunning oil finished roasted maple neck we’ve ever seen.

From an electrics perspective the guitar is sporting a Monty’s guitars award winning PAF humbuckers in the bridge position and one of there Full Monty Tele neck pickups. It has a heavy duty import switch and a .33 Orange drop capacitor, and this is where it gets interesting. It has a pair of Bourns push pull potentiometers to control volume and tone, the volume is set up to take the pickups out of phase on the pull and the tone splits the humbucker on the pull.

This makes this a truly versatile guitar offering a myriad of tonal possibilities from traditional tele sounds, through funk and hard rock, all from the same guitar
