A boutique custom built T-type guitar with more details than you can shake a stick at!

The brief was “I want something that looks classic yet modern”, and this is what we came up with, a single piece of solid elm that has been routed to be semi hollow and then given a figured Ash tobacco burst top without F holes.

It’s sporting Lindy Fralin P90s, Spurzel locking tuners and fully adjustable Schaller rolling bridge married to a Bigsby tremolo, when combined with the semi hollow body this gives the guitar a truly unique tone and great sustain.

On the neck front, we have a cherry that has been carved with a shallow D profile matched with a quilted Sapele fret board with custom brass and cream resin fret markers.

It is loaded with CTS pots and a vintage Tropical Fish cap, adding to the air of quality and vintage style of this T-type.

Finally to fit in with the vintage yet modern theme the guitar has been given a removable custom 3 ply parchment pick guard that is secured in place via magnets, allowing you to swap between a classic and a modern look with ease.
