Maybury Artist - Arthur Wilson

Arthur with his custom Maybury X Bass

Arthur Wilson is the frontman and bassist of Bones Ate Arfa — and a creative powerhouse in his own right.

A multi-instrumentalist with a sharp ear and sharper edge, Arthur moves effortlessly between bass, guitar, and drums. He’s been shaping sound since the age of 7, cutting his teeth early in bands at 8 and never looking back.

In 2024, his raw energy and distinctive style caught the attention of Maybury. The result? A custom-built, bright green Giant X bass — a bold, uncompromising instrument that sounds exactly as fierce as it looks. Designed by Arthur. Built by Maybury. Made to be played loud.

Bones Ate Arfa is a bold, genre-defying trio from Brighton, UK — merging psychedelic street punk and desert rock into something entirely their own. The lineup: Bones on guitar, 8 on drums, and Arfa on vocals and bass. With the release of their explosive debut single ‘Asbestos’, described as “junkyard dog riffs,” they immediately caught the attention of icons like Muse, Fred Durst, Isaac Holman (SOFT PLAY), Royal Blood, Tigercub, Demob Happy, Bad Nerves — and more.

More than just a band, Bones Ate Arfa is a creative force. Part flesh, part ink — they exist both on stage and on the page, transforming into animated alter egos in their self-produced music videos and comic books like ‘Akimbo People Official Graphic Novel’ and ‘Just Bananas – The Potassium Pursuit’.

In just two years, they’ve carved out a cult following and left a lasting mark on the UK’s southern gig circuit. With features on Clash Magazine, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, Dork, Earmilk, and Louder Than War, Bones Ate Arfa isn’t just making noise — they’re shaping their own universe.
