This Saguaro Upscaler is made with our go to reclaimed Norwegian Spruce for the body, which has undergone the shou-sugi-ban Japanese weathering method.

The weathered and distressed body has been shaped to our Saguaro double cut design, it has been glued Doweled and stapled so although it looks as though its going to fall apart it is extremely robust and is not going to suffer from the odd knock or ding, which when combined with its light weight make this an extremely good guitar to play and gig with.

This guitar is aimed more for heavy rock, and so we sourced an amazing set of 2nd hand Ibanez humbuckers that are really snappy clean but take drive really well, offering bluesy tones through to full metal if required.

The chrome hardware is all upcycled, with the control plate actually coming from a PB Bass of all things.

The maple neck has also been treated to some shou sugi ban weathering before being finished with oil, the fret board is ebony with Trapezoid inlays and the frets have been leveled and finished.

This is a striking guitar that would suit a player that is looking for a statement piece that they aren’t going to be too afraid to play
